Why We Ask For Your Information?
Your personal information identifies and relates specifically to you. It includes not only your name and address, but also your personal cash card records.
We ask for your personal information to establish and support your cash card relationship with us, to offer and provide you with products and services, and to protect our interests, and yours.
When you obtain an Ingenicard cash card we ask for your name, address, telephone number, and identification to help us ensure that only you can authorize the use of funds from your cash card account.
Keeping Your Information Confidential
Your personal information is secure within the company. We have comprehensive security controls to protect against unauthorized access to, or use, alteration, destruction or disclosure of, your information.
For example:
* When you use your Ingenicard cash card personal secret code, your "electronic signature", to conduct a transaction, only the minimum data necessary to check your account balance and verify your secret code is used. Your name and personal information are not part of this data.
* Contracts are in place, which require that any information provided by Ingenicard™ must be maintained in confidence and used only for the contracted purposes. As a result, each and every Ingenicard employee is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all customer information to which they have access.
Release of Information
We also have a strict policy not to release personal information about our customers. Under no circumstances do we sell or give lists of our customers to others for their use.
